Forthcoming Functions

We have no functions yet scheduled for 2016. We are always on the look out for potential speakers. Please let the Society know if you are aware of any in the UK, or proposing to visit.

Our last function was an address by the Honourable Robert Smellie CNZM QC, at the offices of Fenwick Elliott LLP on Tuesday 8 December 2015. The event was free and refreshments were provided. The subject of the talk was "The Chilcot Dilemma – a New Zealand perspective." Our speaker gave an insightful view of the problems confronting the Chilcot Inquiry, and how similar issues had surfaced in the Mahon Inquiry into the Erebus crash, in the Arthur Alan Thomas Inquiry and in various other cases.

This event brought activities for last year to a close.
